Bro. Melvin Turner, 33°, celebrated his 99th birthday surrounded by many admiring friends. He is a 50 year member of the Scottish Rite. Bro. Mel gave a talk about how Jasper, TN has changed since the 1920s, during his military service, and especially during his 40 years in local politics.

Vic Irvin and several cadets from the East Ridge High School JROTC gave an informative presentation at the Scottish Rite Society Public Meeting on March 12, 2015. Topics included the history and mission of the JROTC, the present state of JROTC in the Chattanooga area, and how the JROTC makes a difference in the lives of young adults. After the presentation, some of the cadets performed rifle drills for the audience. Bro. Haskell Clark, 32° KCCH (left) and Bro. James Byrd, Jr., 32° KCCH (right) recently celebrated birthdays. Bro. Clark turned 92 on March 12, and Bro. Byrd turned 90 on March 17. They were recognized at the Chattanooga Scottish Rite Society's March public meeting. Bro.
