Masons are taught that as a man strives to draw closer to his Creator, that journey is reflected in his attitude and actions toward those around him. Charity, therefore, is not simply an activity — it is a core expression of our Masonic values. Masonic philanthropies are among the most respected and far-reaching in the world, making a profound impact on our communities and our nation.

Every Scottish Rite Valley maintains an Almoner Fund, dedicated to assisting Brothers, families, and individuals in times of need. While each Valley administers this fund according to its local circumstances, all share the same belief: that by caring for others, we fulfill the principles upon which our Fraternity is founded.

In addition to our Almoner Fund, the Chattanooga Scottish Rite oversees the Chattanooga Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc., the philanthropic arm of our Valley. Through this Foundation, we proudly support our two primary charitable initiatives: RiteCare and The Mercy Shoe Fund, both of which provide meaningful, life-changing assistance within our community. We invite you to click the links below to learn more about each of these charities. Each product quantity selected increases the donation by $5 — for example, selecting a quantity of 10 results in a $50 contribution.
